It may tout itself as a vegetarian eatery, but The Sprout Restaurant appeals just as much to omnivores, vegans, and people with gluten-free diets. For one, the menu is diverse, ranging from comfort food such as lentil burgers and poutine—made with meat-free miso gravy—to international dishes of pad thai and falafel. Thanks to the chefs' knack for using soy and the restaurant's regular supply of gluten-free bread, most of the menu items can be altered to suit restrictive diets.
