Unreal amount of knowledge in Tod! He has so much experience and a wealth of knowledge of the entire history of microbrewing in Minnesota--it was as much a history lesson as it was a peek into microbrewing operations. The actual demonstration of process in the location in Mantorville was much more of a description vs actual seeing of the functional process (not that we expected to brew beer, just some of the mechanics of doing so in an operation that isn't currently brewing has to be "imagined"). Kudos to Tod for driving down from St Paul for just 6 of us to take in the experience. I have encouraged friends and other experienced brewers to "sit in on a talk" from Tod, the brew-meister.

About The Stagecoach Brewing Company
Tracing its lineage back to 1857, Stagecoach Brewing Company is a small, family-owned craft brewery nestled on the banks of Brewery Creek in Minnesota's Bluff Country. As a pioneering craft brewery in the region, Stagecoach offers a line-up of year round brews, including:
- Amber Ale: First brewed in 1996, our flagship brew has classic caramel malt flavors balanced with a citrus triple hopped finish.
- Honey Golden Ale: Brewed with classic noble hops for a crisp, refreshing flavor, this 2015 World Beer Championship Gold Medal Winner also brings in a touch of sweetness with honey malts.
- Smoked Porter: Minnesota’s original smoked brew, this robust porter brims with rich chocolate, coffee flavors and a subtle smoky finish. Experience Stagecoach wherever the trail may take you.

The owner who gave the tour was extremely knowledgeable. The beers were all very good too! Only negative was he could have talked a little louder. Would definitely recommend the tour and the beer!
