About The Swim Academy
When kids know how to swim, parents can be more at ease during summer vacations and family time at the pool. At The Swim Academy, kids as young as six months old learn how to move safely in the water. The staff teach Pedia Swim safety classes for babies, helping them feel comfortable in the water and showing them how to turn onto their backs and float, in case they ever inadvertently fall into a pool or pond. Once kids turn older, they're eligible for small-group lessons. Students splash around in the 90-degree water mastering the kicks and arm strokes that will get them safely from one end of the pool or a concert mosh pit to the other. Adults can take classes as well, whether they’re just learning to tread water or training for a triathalon.
