The Brunswick Tavern
Nestled within the elegant Brunswick Hotel, the Brunswick Tavern plates up beloved Maine dishes and traditional comfort foods. A native Mainer himself, chef David Pendexter takes full advantage of the local bounty, especially during dinner hours. His signature entrees include lobster scampi sautéed with white wine, shallots, and garlic, as well as bison meatloaf that he stuffs with smoked gouda and finishes with a blueberry barbecue sauce.
In addition to Chef Pendexter's menu, local craft beers, live music, and happy hour specials exemplify the tavern's welcoming nature, as do seasonal events. In the winter, for instance, the tavern features an ice bar, and throughout the summer, it hosts several whiskey-tasting events.
