Poland, the country that gifted the world with Chopin and the polonaise, has also developed quite an impressive contemporary jazz scene, and this Contempo concert at the Logan Center spotlights two of the top acts in town. Jaroslaw Kapuscinski and Marek Choloniewski weave piano music with stunning audio-visual projections to create a cutting-edge entertainment experience with Mondrian and More. They'll be followed by vocalist Grazyna Auguscik -- dubbed a "must-see" singer by the Chicago Tribune -- along with accordionist Jarek Bester, the Maniacal 4 Trombone Quartet and bassist Matt Ulery, who'll perform a European-flavored cabaret set called Chopin Can Swing.
