It was a great experience for my girlfriend's bachelorette party. Very cool venue and the instructor was very personable and a great teacher. We had so much fun!

Remembering the past can be done by sifting through old photos, eating madeleine cookies with tea, and watching dachshunds re-enact the signing of the Constitution. Add a few glittering showgirls to a memory-animation with today's Groupon: for $45, you get one general-admission ticket to Vegas! The Show at the Saxe Theater (up to a $95 value). The theater is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Vegas! The Show's talented cast re-creates classic Sin City moments to tell the story of the city's most colorful characters, including Elvis Presley, the Rat Pack, Tina Turner, and Elton John. As minds wander back to the Technicolor glory days of desert-based showmanship, audience members can bask in a nostalgic storyline rife with leggy kick lines, dapper tuxedos, clinking cocktails, and Frank Sinatra challenging Sammy Davis Jr. to a bobsled race. With a heartbeat produced by the robust rhythms of a live big-band orchestra, the glamorous show features thespians singing, twirling, and dancing their way through a fast-paced Vegas spectacle of lights, glitter, butter, and bravado. Vegas! The Show runs at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. every night of the week.

About Vegas! The Show

Producer and V Theater owner David Saxe was born into Vegas show business, raised by a mother who danced at Les Folies Bergere and a father who led the band for the Rat Pack. Saxe’s V Theater runs its nine concurrent shows in a 40,000-square-foot space divided into four showrooms on multiple floors, each retaining an intimate feeling with seating that brings the audience closer to performers. The V Theater’s current shows range from a seven-act, family-friendly Ultimate Variety Show to Marc Savard’s Comedy Hypnosis, an entertaining act where Savard persuades audience members to hilariously dance, act like animals, and ghostwrite his autobiography.
