The Wellesley Players go for The Full Monty with their take on the hit Broadway musical comedy inspired by the Oscar-nominated film. In Terrence McNally's stage adaptation, a group of unemployed steelworkers decides to make some cash by putting on a striptease act. But these aren't exactly your typical beefcakes, so what they end up creating is the most unforgettable display of flesh that their blue-collar town has ever seen -- all while conquering their inner demons, improving their self-esteem and learning some important lessons about friendship. The Full Monty was nominated for a whopping 10 Tony Awards in 2001, including Best Musical, and now this touching, funny and crowd-pleasing show can be enjoyed at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown.
