Had a great time learning about the local resident whales!

Beneath whale skeletons & family trees of local pods, patrons revel in haunting whale songs & videos of orcas bursting through surf

The Whale Museum is very educational. We spent a few hours there and learned a lot about the whales that frequent the areas and even sat and watched the documentary they had showing, The Sonic Sea. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are visiting the islands.

Absolutely! We learned a lot about whales, and if you have kids or a kid's birthday or a gift-giving holiday coming up, pick up a copy of Storm Boy.
