The Whale Museum is very educational. We spent a few hours there and learned a lot about the whales that frequent the areas and even sat and watched the documentary they had showing, The Sonic Sea. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are visiting the islands.

It was very informative. My favorite part was seeing the lineage of every whale in existance. It was inspiring. It's made me want to help whales.

Absolutely! We learned a lot about whales, and if you have kids or a kid's birthday or a gift-giving holiday coming up, pick up a copy of Storm Boy.

The entire family had a great time. The staff were friendly and were able to answer all of our questions about whales and native marine life. They even helped direct us to the local beach where the orcas had recently been seen. Can't wait to go back again!
