I am desperate to begin doing Yoga, however, have a work schedule that makes it very difficult to commit to constant date/time schedule for appointments. I would like to know if I purchase the unlimited month package, do I have to enroll in certain classes or can I sign up for classes with the intent of making it but if not able to, not showing is OK ? I don't want to exclude others from classes if my signing up for them takes a spot that may go un-filled should I get stuck at work.

We're flexible with your schedule, in other words you can come whenever you want. You don't have to come to the same class each week. We have about 15 classes a week and you choose your own schedule. Our latest evening class is 7:15 on Wed, but if gentle yoga is your best choice then try coming at 9am Monday or Saturday, 5:45 Tuesday and/or 4:00 or 6:00 on Thursday. Does that help?

I have a pinched nerve in my back due to the movement of one vertebra. Can yoga help bring back movements that the pinch has made painful?

It is important to not damage the nerve. It is hard to heal a damaged nerve, so, we would rather help you sooner than later. The alignment instructions, the lengthening and opening that we do and learning to engage core support for your back will all help. However, I recommend a private class first. Go ahead and buy the deal, if you want, but also call and schedule a private class to come to first so that you get individualized instruction and we can instruct you personally what you should and shouldn't do.

On the monthly special what is the daily schedule? What does one need to bring to the session? How does one dress?

Tom M.  asked on  Jun 22, 2013

You can see our daily schedule at or you can e-mail us at and I can send the schedule to you as an attachment. You really don't need to bring anything. We have mats that you can borrow or buy. We take our shoes off at the entrance and keep shoes off of the area where we do yoga. We have a wooden floor and ask people not to walk on it with their shoes. You can wear comfortable clothing, there is no particular dress. In the winter sweat pants are great and in the summer shorts that are not loose around the thigh Thanks.

Is yoga a good thing for someone with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis?

Toby R.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

Yes it is, however you have to be careful and know what you are doing. A private class or two would be a good idea before joining the group classes.
