Q:

my son needs single vision lenses with anti glare (for the chalkboard). How much extra for the anti glare? what is the average price for childrens frames? (age 13)

Patricia A.  asked on  Jun 13, 2013

A:

The anti-reflective coating is $70, $90, or $110 depending on the grade you choose. Our children's frames run $99 all the way to $229 for the Nike brand. Most of our customers choose the Flexon frames for their children due to the durability. Flexon frames are $179.

Q:

I need to clarify my questions: Does the $25 groupon cover the $150 charge toward trifocals? OR, if we purchadse the Groupon, do we pay an additional fee--over the $25--for trifocals or bifocals? Thank you.

Camille P.  asked on  Jun 13, 2013

A:

The final price of the complete pair depends on the frames, lenses, and options that you choose. For example, you could choose a $75 pair of frames with single vision lenses ($75) and that would equal $150 so there would be no additional cost above the Groupon, or you could choose a $75 pair of frames with standard bifocals ($115) that would equal $190. The $150 from the Groupon would be applied toward that total and you would pay the remaining $40.

Q:

Can I use this deal just to purchase frames, or is an eye exam and/or lens purchase required? I can provide a vision script if they need verification that I wear corrective lenses.

andrew s.  asked on  Jun 12, 2013

A:

The deal is for a complete pair of eyeglasses, frames and lenses together. You do not have to have an eye exam if you already have a valid prescription.
