About ThrillSeeker Stunt Run
"I have always dreamed about being the Walt Disney of adrenaline." That's what Jared Willardsen shares on the ThrillSeeker Stunt Run website about his latest project, which gives people a chance to try many of the awesome stunts they see on TV or the big screen. As one of the creators behind popular stunt shows like Nitro Circus and Thrillbillies, it seems safe to say Willardsen knows how to get hearts pumping. The ThrillSeeker Stunt Run does just that with a dozen stunts, such as:
- Swinger's Island: Jump from an eight-foot platform, grab a swinging bag in mid-air, and release at just the right moment in order to land on a floating island.
- Zip 'N Slide: Grasp a handle at 25 feet above the ground and zoom back toward earth during a 20-foot drop, landing softly on a slide back to terra firma.
- Stunt Trikes: Climb onto a custom, adult-sized tricycle and pedal furiously while flying around corners on an abbreviated track.
In addition to those obstacles, ThrillSeeker Stunt Run events—which unfold at locations around the country—create a festive atmosphere, complete with food trucks, live music, and kid-friendly activities. Kids themselves can even compete in a specially designed stunt run, or they can try their hand at the adult run if they're over the age of 12. Click here to view some FAQs.
