Thrown Elements Pottery strives to provide a comfortable, fun, and inspiring environment in which people of all ages and abilities may create, learn, and grow. For nearly a decade, Thrown Elements has encouraged artists to try something new, whether it's painting a premade piece of pottery or making a pottery piece from scratch and painting it. Color the pieces however you'd like, then Thrown Elements will fire it and finish it, readying it for use or display in your home. It serves as a fun project for bachelorette parties, scout troops, and other groups. Thrown Elements also offers eight-week wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery classes, as well as private lessons. It's the brainchild of Andi Ruhl, a longtime lover of pottery who started the studio in 2008.
