What You'll Get
Booking your body double a beautifying treatment at a tranquil spa creates a soundproof alibi for days spent stealing office supplies from the National Guard. Make your stand-in stand out and replace your tape with bazooka putty with today’s Groupon: for $30, you get a 30-minute body scrub with a 15-minute green-tea bath soak (a $65 value) plus use of spa amenities at Tikkun Holistic Spa, located at the corner of Fourth Street and Broadway. If you book a Swedish massage on the same day, you'll receive it at $20 off. If you order right now, we’ll even throw in this deluxe chopping device.
Choose from a botanical body scrub, salt scrub, or traditional Korean scrub to exfoliate skin until it's smoother and softer than a puppy's inner ear. For the traditional treatment, Tikkun's expert therapists use scrub mitts to slough off dead skin cells before applying organic detoxifying body polish. Those opting for the salt scrub will gently ditch zombie skin cells and fight inflammation with the help of salt's crystalline structure; the botanical scrub does the deed with plant-based products. Each treatment is accompanied by a half-hour soak in a stone tub brimming with a sweetly scented green-tea infused brew.
Along with each treatment, access is granted to all of Tikkun's facilities. The spa focuses on water, touch, and temperature-based treatments, so it makes use of far-infrared sauna technology in several therapeutic treatment rooms. In the Korean Hwangto Clay Room, gentle heat emanates from clay tiles and clay finish over far-infrared panels. In the Salt Room, blocks of Himalayan salt help the heat of far-infrared panels diffuse purifying negative ions. And in the Jade Room, far-infrared heat warms Chinese jade to help increase circulation and release toxins. An ice room is also available, serving as the sorbet between heating courses. Call ahead to book an appointment.

About Tikkun Holistic Spa
Walking from one treatment room to another inside Tikkun Holistic Spa feels like what walking through a rainbow might be like. The arctic-imitating landscape in the ice room shines a pale blue. Besides exuding a calming atmosphere, Tikkun Holistic Spa has one main goal: to help heal the entire world, one stressed-out person at a time. To that end, reiki master and owner Niki Han Schwarz developed her signature Korean body treatments for clients. Among those treatments is the body scrub and hot oil massage, in which scrubbing mitts exfoliate and hydrate the entire body. The spa also offers a variety of other relaxing treatments that include massage, body wraps, and facials.
