About Tiny Towne

Tiny Towne is any little kid's dream village: the year-round temperature is a balmy 72–78 degrees, the skies are always free of clouds, and they're the ones in the driver's seat. At Tiny Towne, the philosophy is that no child is too young to learn the rules of the road. Here, in a 36,000-square-foot facility, kids ages 3–16 take the wheel in a real-life video game, cruising down streets in scaled-down cars. But instead of going on a joyride to the nearest toy store, little drivers must obey all traffic signs and signals, especially if they want to move up a level. Drivers make their way through three such levels by displaying proper driving skills, completing tests on the high-tech touch-screen computers, and participating in traffic-safety educational programs.

As their kids drive, parents can stroll through the town or observe from an umbrella-shaded table on the balcony. Nearby, a train that offers little kids rides circles the town and goes through a tunnel. After driving on the tracks or riding the train, kids can join their families in Tiny Towne's restaurant for a bite to eat and then head to the Carcade to play a few games.
