After stretches and warm-ups, each class transitions into one- to three-minute rounds of heavy bag work, during which a trainer imparts hitting techniques such as the jab, cross, and hook. These no-combat, all-cardio classes can burn up to 1,000 calories per hour. TITLE Boxing Club
TITLE Boxing Club's professional trainers lead high-energy classes for all fitness levels designed bolster confidence, burn calories, and shed pounds. Each session has the potential to burn up to 1,000 calories through a combination of heart-healthy cardio training and muscle-toning kickboxing moves. Students can also build their core strength and endurance, closing out the class with 15 minutes of ab workouts involving medicine balls, or by enlisting a qualified personal trainer to practice their newfound skills.
