Paintball is a lot like chess in that both require complex strategizing and both are almost impossible to win against autonomous robots. Engage a fellow human in a faux fight with today's Groupon: for $20, you get a paintball experience, including an all-day field fee, equipment, and 100 paintballs (a $40 value), at TNT Paintball.
TNT Paintball invites adventurous guests to gather in teams and fling colour-coded spheres until the enemy is completely covered in art. The splatter centre divides its facilities into a foursome of uniquely themed playing fields monitored by attentive referees. Broken Hills leads players into forest shootouts and paint-themed shootouts amid an Old Western watering hole, and Urban Assault combines field, forest, and abandoned vehicles. For attack-and-defend aficionados, Thunder Hill serves up a two-storey tower encircled by enough bunkers and barrels to protect flags from a humiliating capture. Spectators and warriors alike can enjoy Grog's Nest, a cluster of five buildings connected by ramps and suspension bridges.
TNT Paintball supplies skirmishers with markers, masks, lunch, camo tops weaved of verdant foliage, and 100 pieces of laundry-friendly ammunition. To protect players from unfriendly fire and the angry glares of allies shot by accident, full-length pants, gloves, and baseball caps are recommended, and a gift shop is on-site for acquiring postfight body fuel. The facility is open every weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekdays depending on interest.
PB Reviews users reviewed TNT Paintball and have this to say about the facility:
A menagerie of abandoned cars, towers, forts, and pillboxes litter the ground at TNT Paintball, providing just enough cover for players to hide from their opponents and catch their breath before beginning their assaults. Open for drop-in games on weekends, the business hosts group matches that are moderated by trained referees on five distinct fields.
