What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our baked goods are made from scratch in our own kitchen everyday, so whatever you order you know it’s fresh and ready to be enjoyed the way it was originally intended.
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Raspados are always a hit this time of year. Made with shaved ice, our own natural syrup (made in house) and your choice of fresh fruit (Strawberries, Pineapple, Mango, Guava and more!)
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
As a kid, I always loved the Mexican culture and the passion Mexican bakers and people had for their food. I was always proud of my father and the life he was able to give me here in the U.S. With the help of my family, I started my first Tobara 9 years ago in East Los Angeles. The rest is history!
What do you love most about your job?
I love our staff, throughout the years we’ve grown to be more like a big family than co-workers. I also love seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they try one of our products for the first time, it takes me back to the first time I had real Pan Dulce as a kid.. some of the best memories!
