A family outing fosters lifelong memories while giving houses the chance to molt in private. Leave your domicile to its own devices with today's Groupon: for $25, you get one adult weekend pass to the TOCO Family Festival at the Jellystone Park Resort at Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka (a $50 value), held on September 9–11. Children 6 and under are admitted for free, and children 7–16 are admitted at a discounted rate. While today’s Groupon includes field camping, accommodations—including rented tents and cottages—are available at an additional cost.
Benefiting the Tapestry of Community Offerings’ benevolent assistance to local children and families in need, the annual TOCO Family Festival combines charitable giving with a weekend of outdoor camping, recreation, and musical merriment. Set up a tent-centric command center before cavorting through Jellystone Park Resort’s 35 acres of campground. Kids roam in happy hordes through the party zone, stopping in for hula-hoop workshops with the St. Louis Hoop Club, new disguises from face-painting stations, or spirit-animal training with the park’s shaman. Attendees contribute to a collective arts project while musical groups such as Aaron Kamm & the One Drops and Vitamen A belt out family-friendly tunes, or strike out for active afternoons of swimming, hiking, or miniature golf. Snag some quality time with Yogi Bear before feasting on Sunday morning’s boogie brunch and heading home with indelible memories and a pocketful of wish-granting pinecones.
Proceeds from the festival support high-minded causes such as the TOCO Textiles Pantry, which distributes clothing and housewares to families in need. TOCO also takes a progressive role in environmental awareness and community building, keeping an estimated 80,000 pounds of plastics, contaminants, and old Atari cartridges out of landfills in 2010.

For 12 years, Tapestry of Community Offerings (TOCO) has delighted children, parents, and passing wildlife with its music festivals, all while raising money and awareness for important community organizations. Profits raised by the family festivals helps TOCO with its direct-service programs, such as providing free clothing to families in need and sponsoring youth summer camps. TOCO also supports several other community organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Helping Hands Food Pantry, and the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois.
