Earthbound spirits still care about the planet, which is why haunted houses feature lights that suddenly go out and showers that shut off after three minutes. Feel the phantom power with today's Groupon to Toluca Lake Pumpkin Festival in North Hollywood. Choose between the following options:
- For $11, you get two tickets to the haunted maze and the petting zoo (a $22 value).
- For $20, you get four tickets to the haunted maze and the petting zoo (a $44 value).
The haunted maze is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. October 1–31.
Monsters possessing the Toluca Lake Pumpkin Festival spook visitors of all ages who dare set foot inside their haunted maze before the farm's friendlier beasts shake hooves with guests. Meander through the darkened maze's twisty turns while carefully avoiding such spooky sights as coffins on straw bales, unfinished algebra quizzes, and clowns with mouths twisted into gruesome smiles. Afterward, chilled thrill seekers can soothe shivering hands in the warm body fibers of sheep, rabbits, goats, and other convivial creatures at the petting zoo. A vast patch of potential jack-o'-lanterns greets pumpkin pluckers, and an on-site florist assembles stem baubles into artfully designed arrangements for gifting to the bunny with the shiniest teeth.

About Toluca Lake Pumpkin Festival
A pumpkin can pep up a pie, transform into a jack-o'-lantern, or fill in for you at work, and each fall, Toluca Lake Pumpkin Festival stocks an ample supply of this versatile squash. The staff also celebrates the harvest season with a maze in which monsters and spooky displays chill visitors' spines. New this year, there will be an assortment of rides for children. Once fall transforms into winter, the patch turns its attention to selling Christmas trees such as Noble firs and custom wreaths to hang on doors. Regardless of the season, visitors can meet goats, rabbits, and sheep at an onsite petting zoo or pick up a bouquet from Toluca Lake Florist, which has supplied cut flowers for more than 60 years.
