Q:

is it possible to schedule on any day of the week?

Christopher M.  asked on  Jul 22, 2013

A:

Yes it is. Our pilots are flexible in scheduling. Our pilots work with you in order to get a day which is good for you both.

Q:

so you said the actual air time is 30 minutes? how long is the entire experience including all training and anything else?

Christopher M.  asked on  Jul 22, 2013

A:

You can plan on spending around 1 hour and 15 minutes with your pilot... Perhaps up to one and a half hours. That will include question and answer time, preflight inspection of the aircraft, and the flying portion. Overall it is a great experience for folks of all ages. It is an experience few people will ever get.

Q:

Besides the pilot and the holder of the groupon who else will be in the plane?

LEO S.  asked on  Jul 21, 2013

A:

That is all... unless you elect to bring a guest. If you do so, we do nto charge extra, but we do point out that the pilot would always appreciate a tip, but that it is not required.

Q:

I am a left leg amputee. Would this be a problem with the flight experience?

LEO S.  asked on  Jul 21, 2013

A:

as far as the actual flying portion, I do not see that as a limiting factor. I would ask that you mention it in your initial email contact so that we may make any accomodations necessary. The only factor I see is the high step into the aircraft, but I am sure that can be accomdated.

Q:

Is this package just for one person or is it $99 for a couple? ie would I have to buy two groupons for 2 people to do it?

Shannon B.  asked on  Jul 21, 2013

A:

You may bring one guest. It is a great way for a couple to enjoy the area, or even see your home if you live nearby. If you would like to have more time in the air, or to each have a chance to ride in the front of the aircraft. then you would need two vouchers. But if just looking to bring your significant other, you may do so on one voucher.

Q:

My son is 9 and has talked about being a pilot as a career for quite a while. I understand that you must be 18, but could we do the Intro to Aviation package together?

Mark S.  asked on  Jul 19, 2013

A:

Absolutely! The age restriction can be waived with parental consent or participation. It would be a great experience for you to share.

Q:

Is this different from the Discovery Flight Package that you offer?

Rebecca C.  asked on  Jul 18, 2013

A:

This flight may be conducted with with either one if our professional pilots or flight instructors. We focus more on the daily activity and procedure of a professional pilot. The discovery flight is geared towards what it is like to take a flight lesson and what it takes to earn a license. That being said, these are very similar flights, and are a ton of fun!

Q:

How long is actual air time?

fran w.  asked on  Jul 18, 2013

A:

The flight portion should last approximately 30 minutes. That does vary from time to time due to traffic or ATC instructions. we do also try to keep you involved in the pure and post flight operations as well. we strive to give you a true taste of what it is like to be a pilot for a day!
