The beginner's climbing course uses step-by-step instruction on the fundamentals of climbing technique to get students on the wall. Focusing on personal responsibility and industry-standard climbing practices, the class shows students that safety is the most important component. The gym provides all gear, including shoes and a harness, and after the lesson every student can make full use of the facility. Lessons are Monday—Friday every hour starting at 5 p.m., Saturdays at 1 p.m., and Sundays at noon. Parents with children younger than 13 years of age must take the lesson themselves before accompanying their minor child on another lesson.
