What You'll Get
Without dancing, two-step would be a pair of lonely one-steps and salsa would stay motionless in its jar. Promote happy feet with today’s Groupon: for $25, you get five beginner dance classes at Jive Nation Toronto (an $85 value).
Jive Nation Toronto’s expert hoofers get students dancing in the first session and impart floor-conquering skills for future boogying. Arrive with a co-conspirator or meet a half-dozen new ones in the friendly class setting, where 15 to 30 pupils learn the fundamentals of modern jive. An urbane blend of salsa and swing, the dance style gets legs moving and arms interweaving to pop music both current and classic, like a screen saver of Audrey Hepburn's ankle. The studio’s friendly instructors guide men and women through Wednesday night classes, which begin at 8 p.m. and last two hours (a $17 value/class). Newly minted jivers are eligible for any of Jive Nation Toronto's Saturday afternoon social dance and practice sessions at an extra cost of $10.
The studio’s ample space and supple floors support the most energetic of dance apprentices. Those seeking further tutelage may buy a discounted package of six classes for $76 when redeeming this Groupon.

About Jive Nation Toronto
Every Thursday, Jive Nation Toronto's students and instructors step into the studio to hone their dance abilities in a social setting. Fresh pop tunes fill the air as instructors guide students through a fusion of modern-jive, salsa-inspired, and swing moves. From this combination, beginners can absorb three–four common steps after their first lessons without having prior dance experience or recollections from past lives as Astaires. Partners are not required for lessons, as the instructors pair students together, which allows them to make new friends while learning how to become confident dancers.
