Toronto Sport and Social Club

Most of the games organized by Toronto Sport and Social Club are self-officiated. That's because the club is more invested in members having a good time than getting all serious about it (for the same reason, the competition stays friendly and there is no body contact between players).

Single-sex and coed teams face off in hockey, basketball, and soccer, as well as more esoteric pastimes such as curling, squash, and inner-tube water polo. Players self-report their scores, and league winners are honored with a party and prizes. Those who can't commit to a full season can sign up for tournaments and special events, such as learn-to-curl workshops. Toronto Sport and Social Club also runs team-building corporate events including scavenger hunts.
