Like a potato, if the human body is not properly mashed and moisturized, it will never be used for anything more than a science-project battery. Make sure your and your partner's bodies are properly fluffed and buttered with today's soothing Groupon: for $75, you get a three-hour couples massage class at Living Well (a $225 value).
Whisk strained sweethearts away to Living Well's healing sanctuary, where a professional massage therapist will help couples tighten their connection through mutual loosening of connective tissues. Whether partners are blessed with muscular mitts or feeble phalanges, the easy-to-follow massage instruction and basic pressure-relieving techniques will leave even the most bumbling butterfingers skilled in the art of muscle mollification and albatross removal. Because hands are tired after hours of supporting pencils and countless games of office patty-cake, the friendly tissue tutor will demonstrate the correct way to apply pressure to your partner's back to avoid palm fatigue, leaving you free to administer comforting caresses for as long as it takes to reap the total rejuvenating benefits.
The couples class is normally broken down into two separate sessions, but Groupon holders can take advantage of an accelerated learning environment and pick up all their newfound softening skills in a single three-hour session. While this class is designed for couples, anyone is welcome to attend, so guests can feel free to bring their best friend, cherished family member, or dearest doughboy to sharpen their kneading know-how. Classes are offered Friday and Saturday and are subject to availability, so couples should call ahead to make an appointment.

Touch Massage Therapy
Though Chris Lowe received her formal training in kinesiology and exercise physiology, she realized she preferred the more spiritually focused and personal approach of massage. A constant student, she often adds to her repertoire of massage modalities and techniques, sometimes developing her own customized approaches. After leading her guests into a heated, private treatment room, she kneads clients' muscles during Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, and pregnancy massages. She also performs massages tailored to those with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and paraplegia. When not providing massage therapy, Chris passes her techniques onto others by leading private and group workshops in couple's massage and infant massage.
