Thanks for your questions! The esthetician has experience with all different skin types, including African American.

Your skin will be analyzed and the facial will be customized to meet your skin's needs. The goal of the facial in this treatment is fortify the skin with protective anti-oxidants and ingredients to create balance and hydration. Extractions will be perfirmed as needed.

The microdermabrasion is performed with a diamond microdermabrasion machine.

The benefits of microdermabrasion are cumulative. One treatment will brighten the skin, making it visibly softer and smoother. Continued treatments should be done between 2 weeks (a more intensive appoarch), or 1 month apart (most common approach). Regular microdermabrasion appointments don't allow dead unhealthy skincells to build up on the skin's surface thus stimulating the skin to produce new, fresh, healthy skin cells. The result is glowing, healthy radiant skin. Each skin is different and responds to the treatment differently, the best way to tell what frequency of treatment will work best for you is a skin analysis and discussion of the goals you have for your skin.
