$195 for One 30-Minute Jetlev Water-Propelled-Jetpack Flight and Two One-Day Beach Passes ($410 Value)
Beach passes provide:
- All-day beach-cabana rental for two
- All-day passes to High Tide water slide for two
- Access to TradeWinds Island Grand Resort’s pools, mini golf, and paddleboats for two
- Parking pass to share
The Jetlev water-propelled jetpack doesn’t use rockets—instead, it churns through 1,000 gallons of water per minute to launch its wearer up to 30 feet above the ocean’s surface. After a 10-minute briefing on safety and controls, fliers make their way out onto the open water for 30 minutes in the air high-fiving low-flying pelicans as a flight assistant stands by on a wave runner to ensure safety. The entire experience takes about 90 minutes, and fliers must be 18 or older; check out a video of the Jetlev jetpack in action here.
After the flight, guests can spend the rest of the day kicking back in a cushioned beach cabana, floating by the resort’s resident swans and koi in a paddleboat, and hurtling down the slide. All components of this offer must be redeemed in one visit.

About TradeWinds Island Grand Resort
Planted adjacent to 20 acres of private, white-sand beach space on St. Pete Beach, TradeWinds Island Grand Resort provides a range of ways for its all-ages visitors to frolic in Gulf of Mexico waters. The sweeping hotel’s tall white buildings surround five heated pools and secluded areas for paddleboat piloting. Attractions are interconnected by a series of walkways, which allow running and playing. Adults can also embark on water-bound adventures that range from parasailing to boating.
The resort also offers land-based fitness programs and spa treatments, some of which take place on the beach, to help guests slough off stress. When not playing in the sand, kids can climb the beach’s three-story inflatable waterslide, or learn about pirate-themed crafts and memoir writing from a costumed Captain RedBeard.
