I am 57 yrs old and overweight. I do no exercise other than a little walking. Im looking to get fit and more flexibility. would your classes be something I could handle? Are you also saying that the training it personnal with 3 students to one trainer? Debbie Z Wantagh.

DEBBIE Z.  asked on  Jan 6, 2013

Hi Debbie. The classes are for beginners through advanced. Each station has three levels of fitness from beginner to advanced and are modifiable based on one's needs (ie. If you had a knee issue, you would squat rather than lunge) Everyone works at their own pace. We start and end every class with flexibility work. The classes are in groups. Our individualized programs are designed and customized to each individual in small groups of 3 with one coach/trainer as opposed to the classes (not part of this Groupon deal) which are larger groups (with a coach/trainer) Feel free to come in and check it our or call me at 516-809-9700. Look forward to speaking with you!

Are any of these classes geared to people in their 60's. Trying to find some different exercise classes.

Jean S.  asked on  Jan 5, 2013

Hi Jean. Yes, we have all age groups in the classes. The exercises are modifiable to every fitness level and it sounds like you are more fit than most people who attend/participate in the classes since a lot of them are just getting started on their fitness program!

What days and times are the classes scheduled? What ages is this appropriate for?

jennifer g.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

Hi Jen. The classes are offered 6x a week Monday 9:30am and 8pm, Tuesday 7pm, Wednesday 9:30am Thursday 7pm and Saturday 8am. The classes are mostly adults, however, we have had teens take the class and have enjoyed them as well.
