Fresh out of college, Jeremy Riesenfeld was experiencing poor digestion, chronic fatigue, and deepening depression. After enrolling in a work-study program at the holistic Heartwood Institute, however, he quickly found the tools he needed to turn his life around. Overhauling his diet and spiritual outlook based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, he found peace and health, eventually codifying the most useful practices into an eight-branch system that includes meditation, acupuncture, and feng shui. Now at the head of Transformational Acupuncture, Riesenfeld and his fellow acupuncturists help their patrons properly align their energy through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and advice to stop hanging out in particle colliders.
