Temporarily taking over Old Town Traverse City, this multifaceted festival celebrates the suds of the season with a two-day bash. The Blue Tractor, Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula, and Porterhouse Productions present Friday fest-goers with a liquor-loving fiesta, featuring $1 happy-hour pours and $3 microbrew pints from Traverse City's own North Peak Brewing Company. My Dear Disco and the Levi Britton Band will croon as customers carouse and consume. Under heated tents throughout the Old Town area, Saturday's stout and cider-lovers will enjoy five seven-ounce microbrew pours from the more than 60 different flavors available at the festival. A trio of stages will host more than 15 bands between the hours of 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., including Steppin' In it, Delilah DeWylde & The Lost Boys, and Funktions. Foodies can feed on local eats from Blue Tractor, Soul Hole, Maxbauers, and Wishbones. On Friday and Saturday night, guests can greet musicians and microbrewers at a free after-party. While most events will take place in heated tents, Porterhouse Productions recommends that festival-goers dress appropriately for the weather.
The Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival has been listed in All About Beer Magazine and Beer Conoisseur. More than 2,300 Facebookers are fans of Porterhouse Productions, the producer of this year's festival.
