About Travesias

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our goal is to bring cultural awareness through gastronomy to The Bronx. Introduce our guest to flavors they have never experienced and our could even go well together.

What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Our "almost famous" To' Chimi Sliders; our version of a Dominican style burger called a "Chimichurri" made of both seasoned ground beef and pork, topped with asian slaw & our Travesias special sauce with Tostones as the bun.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The owners love for travel and trying new foods was what lead to the creation of this concept. The owners have traveled to many of the countries featured on the menu and wanted to bring back the spices, culinary techniques and styles while educating our patrons on cuisines from around the world.

What do you love most about your job?
We love providing our patrons with amazing food, delicious drinks and exceptional service - the satisfaction we seen in there faces makes all the long days, research and hard work worth it all.
