About Tre Spa
Trey Gillen's hairdressing talent is impossible to deny. His work photographs well (he's styled shoots for GQ and Ralph Lauren catalogs). It walks well (he's prepped models for nine New York Fashion Weeks). And it moves well (he's tressed several Broadway performers, including Amanda Peet in Barefoot in the Park). Coming out of New York's competitive styling scene, Gillen has since relocated to Houston, where he's taken on the titles of L'Oréal Professionnel National Artist and guest teacher for the Aveda Institute.
At his salon, Tre Spa, he shares his expertise with a team of stylists who perform cuts, color, and up-dos. Specialty services include Hotheads human-hair extensions, as well as Perfection SmoothOut, a low-chemical alternative to other hair-smoothing treatments. Beyond the salon, the spa houses practitioners who administer everything from massage to acupuncture to oxygen facials, which are more pleasant than carbon-dioxide facials that just involve an aesthetician breathing on your face.
