During Trio Life Fitness's yoga classes, strengthening, stretching, and mental relaxation add up to a sum of overall well-being calculable by yogis of all abilities. Drop into the all-levels yoga class to develop balance and proper alignment under the aegis of a certified instructor, or toast limbs in a hot-power-yoga session, which burns calories and imparts extra bendiness to bodies in a balmy studio.

Participants use props to promote gentle relaxation and recuperation in restorative yoga, find new chest- and hip-opening movements in wall yoga, and align breath with pose transitions in flow yoga, originally designed for tongue-tied rappers.

As with any devoted student of yoga, six days a week of classes have rendered Trio Life Fitness's schedule impressively flexible. Sessions take place in a spacious studio with a high ceiling, tasteful lighting, and smooth, richly toned floors. The studio also sports a rare yoga wall for harnessed inversions and deepened poses.

Trio Fitness

Walls are important, functionally speaking, but the team at Trio Fitness finds the decorative potential in its four—with humans—during wall Pilates and fitness training. The studio's certified instructors attach students to adjustable harnesses and straps, then guide them through exercises that can be vigorous workouts of the back, chest, and hips without placing stress on the joints.

The Triostaff also teaches Trio Fit sessions, a fusion of flexibility exercises, Pilates-based strength training, and spin. During spin classes, a certified instructor leads up to 15 students in pedaling toward cardio health. Pilates and spin are their specialties, and the schedule features an abundance of each Monday–Friday, as well as at least one class Saturday. These classes are the pillars of the curriculum because they hit the three aspects of the studio’s "trifecta of fitness"—cardio, strength, and flexibility.
