About Trisha McCarthy Real Estate School
- As an instructor in the State of Massachusetts, I have served on a blue-ribbon task force, which developed the original Agency law for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition to that I have taught hundreds of hours of Agency education across the state, both as part of the initial round of training and then on a continuing basis since 2005.
- I have been a Team Leader and Trainer for Keller Williams Realty in Reading & Medford and a Trainer for Cameron Real Estate Group in Medford, Wakefield & Fall River.
- In 2011 I was selected as the Cultural Award Winner for Keller Williams.
- I have served as a New Hampshire Managing Broker for Re/Max On The River in Newburyport, Keller Williams in Newburyport, Medford and Reading
- As a Realtor I have been fortunate to teach and council on Ethics for Realtors all over Massachusetts, both for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and numerous other local associations. Many times I have been called upon to sit on Hearing Panels both locally and State wide. My training programs have focused on the REALTOR Code of Ethics and on ethical components of the license law and Fair Housing. Trisha is able to bring real life, real estate experiences into the class room, which often times makes it easier to understand. Some of my programs include New Agent Training, Agent Acceleration and Continuing Education in order for agents to keep their license active. My positive approach and upbeat attitude make my classes both interesting and enjoyable.
- As a Certified School for the State of Massachusetts, I have classes for Pre-License Training. This class includes 40 hours of live training, sample exams and guidance for preparation for the State Exam. During Covid-19 these classes will be ZOOM class, with Live classes starting in the future according to Governor Bakers protocal for training facilites.
- I have the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation, and (AHWD) At Home With Diversity, e-Pro and (LMC) Loss Mitigation Certified.
- I have served in Washington DC & Chicago on many committees for the National Association of Realtors, including, Land Use, Public Policy, Environmental Issues and Risk Management.
- I was fortunate in being one of the 19 Realtors from Massachusetts to go to the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina to help build houses and as a result became an Honorary Colonel in the Alabama Militia.
- In 2012 I was elected to serve as the State President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS. Leading up to my presidency term, I was elected to serve as President-Elect and Secretary Treasurer for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors frequently served as a speaker on leadership and current real estate issues at Local REALTOR Associations across the state.
- In addition to this Trisha was elected as the President for the Greater Newburyport Realtors in 2001 & 2008 and was voted as the Newburyport Realtor of the Year in 2001.

I am happily married to the love of my life, Bill, (also a retired Police Officer). We enjoy our free time with our four children, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
