Like a private eye, a private chef pulls together disparate elements to develop something juicy. Let a professional follow culinary clues with this Groupon.
Choose From Three Options
- $99 for an in-home three-course brunch or dinner for two (a $400 value)
- $179 for an in-home three-course brunch or dinner for four (a $580 value)
- $349 for an in-home three-course brunch or dinner for eight (a $1,160 value)
Domestic diners choose from a multitude of options for each course on the menu. Kick off evenings with pan-seared scallop salad tossed with mache greens and poached artichoke, or diced, sushi-grade tuna tartare plated with avocado mousse. The six available entrees include braised lamb shank served with Israeli couscous, or vegetarian pappardelle with sautéed zucchini, wild mushrooms, and English peas. Brunchers can tuck into options such as niçoise salad, truffle-and-basil cod benedict, and mini cinnamon-sugared doughnuts stuffed with apple compote. On the day of the meal, chefs set up stations in the host's kitchen to prep and cook organic ingredients that the chefs purchased at Whole Foods or Fairway Market. Chefs will also assist hosts by setting up the table and, for an additional fee, provide more table settings if necessary. Once the meal is over, chefs will clean up after themselves and leave the kitchen spotless and completely sanitized.
Truffle & Basil Private Chef Group
With a focus on creative cuisine crafted from sustainable ingredients, the seasoned chefs of Truffle & Basil Private Chef Group craft culinary masterpieces and add panache to the tradition of gathering around the table. Throughout the Hamptons and New York's five boroughs, the peripatetic chefs tote along ingredients from Whole Foods and Fairway Market in addition to farm-fresh finds. They then transform domestic kitchens into gourmet outposts, whipping up multicourse meals tailored to the client’s taste profile that include dishes such as pan-seared scallops wrapped in serrano ham, braised short ribs, and warm roasted-beet salad. As the brunches, dinner parties, or filet-mignon-eating contests come to a close, chefs clean up before disappearing like a whisper into the night sky.
