About Tsukiji Lounge
Soft lights hang down from Tsukiji Fish Market and Restaurant’s towering ceiling, illuminating the plates of traditional dishes from Japan, China, and Korea that have enticed the tongues of reporters from Food & Wine. Throughout the week, a buffet sweeps across the dining room and simmers with soups and specialties as chefs stand by to prepare sushi and noodles upon request. By day, the chic, WiFi-saturated dining room hosts up to 400 diners, and the evening offers Tsukiji Lounge, which boasts a menu of appetizers complemented by pours from the full bar. Come Friday night, the 14,000-square-foot room transforms into a nightclub, where guests can prance across the dance floor like clydesdales at Horse Prom amidst the vibrant melodies of DJ Paul Brandon.
