After a video lesson and a continental breakfast at Der Hinterhof, staff briefs students on standup-paddleboarding basics and safety. Certified instructors then take groups out on the Wenatchee River to practice paddling technique, maintaining control against the current, and avoiding heckling fish. Participants get one hour and 45 minutes to execute their technique on the calm waters. Tours are limited to six participants per instructor, ensuring ample one-on-one instruction. Guides provide wetsuit booties, life vests, and beach towels, and grant access to showers and changing rooms.
