About Tuscarora Lodge & Canoe Outfitters
For more than 70 years, Tuscarora Lodge & Canoe Outfitters has functioned as not only a destination, but an outfitter helping visitors take their nature outings to the next level. On the shores of Round Lake, cabins come furnished with a variety of amenities, including fully functional kitchens, ample amounts of bedroom linens, and firewood for cold weather visits. Being near the water allows campers full access to the canoe-and-camping trips, which typically last one to four nights in order to explore the surrounded wooded areas and the camping, fishing, canoeing, and hiking opportunities they offer. The canoe trips explore nearby rivers and lakes, and they welcome all levels, letting even complete beginners explore the scenic waters around Grand Marais.
