Students spend about an additional half hour brushing and getting to know the horses before mounting, after which they learn riding and gait basics. Riders need to wear ankle-high boots with a smooth sole and a half-inch heel, full-length pants, and a properly fitting helmet. See the FAQ page for more details.<p>
Twin Lakes Stable
Equestrian phenom Hannah Padgett draws on years of experience and wins as she teaches students the basics of riding English while mounted on carefully selected school horses. Dressed in appropriate attire and helmets (provided), riders aged 5 and older spend time before lessons building horsemanship skills with their steeds through grooming and one-on-one time, and utilize the facility's several miles of trails. To complement the individualized attention of private lessons, the trainers recommend observing more experienced riders.
