For $5, today's side deal gets you a ticket to Twins Jazz Club (up to a $20 value), located in the Entertainment District on U Street. The cover charge is normally $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends.
For more than 23 years, Twins Jazz Club has been at the forefront of Washington, D.C.'s jazz music scene, showcasing local and national traditional jazz acts seven nights a week. On any given night, you can experience acts ranging from music students participating in jam sessions to major jazz artists (even Stevie Wonder stopped by in 2007 to check out Twins).
Twins Jazz requires each patron to spend a minimum of $10 per person per set on food and drinks (not included in your Groupon). The food menu fuses American, Ethiopian, and Caribbean cuisines and the full bar is loaded with a solid beer and wine selection. All shows are first-come, first-serve, so show up early if you want a table or seat.
