Q:

just to make sure - if i get the class for two, can we both get scooters, not motorcycles?

Kristina G.  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

A:

Hi Kristina, Yes you both can take the scooter class. Since we only have two scooters in our fleet, we would just ask that you email us in advance and specify "scooters" on your registration forms so we can plan on bringing 2 scooters and less motorcycles to the range . Although, you might find that riding a motorcycle is a bit more fun since you get to change gears and use a clutch. You guys might also enjoy trying both and swap your 2 wheels :)

Darryl P.  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

Q:

I would like to take this course with my husband, assuming that there will be a riding experience. I read all of the above questions and answers, understand how to dress to come and you provide equipment and bikes, but how much riding time will there be? Even though I am experienced with riding it has been quite some time since I've hopped on a bike so I appreciate and understand the importance of instruction and mastery of the basics. But I am specifically looking for some fun ride time. Could you be specific with me on the division of time between instruction and the driving experience? Thanks so much! Kristen

Kristen w.  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

A:

Hi Kristen! this course may be too basic for you. The 2 hour class is usually broken down into 1 hour of good understanding of the location of motorcycle controls and how to operate them safely and safety gear. The second hour is to develop an understanding of the clutch, throttle and the coordination necessary to start and stop a motorcycle safely. All our classes are geared toward teaching people how to ride motorcycles safely. You may look into our STREET RIDING SKILLS class $250.00: - This course is designed for motorcycle owners, with a motorcycle endorsement, who desire more training in real world riding. - This one day course is a great opportunity to ride with your own personal coach, who will critique your riding and provide you with valuable insights and feedback to make you a more confident rider. Thank you for your question.

Q:

Is there information learned in the license course is $175 for the One Day Course different than the 2-hour session?

Jon K.  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

A:

The 2 hour Intro class is different from the One Day Licensing class (6-8 hours). This groupon deal is for someone who has never been on a motorcycle and wants to have a brief brief overview of riding gear, learn the location of motorcycle controls and how to operate them and develop an understanding of the clutch, throttle and the coordination necessary to start and stop a motorcycle and finally complete your first ride. The $175 One day licensing is a motorcycle Safety Foundation approved curriculum. This course is for motorcycle riders without a license or who have been riding on a permit. After successfully completing the class, the rider will receive a course completion card to be taken to the DMV to obtain a GA. motorcycle license. Hope this help!

Q:

Hi....I am interested in earning to drive a motorcylce. I have no previous experience. Is that would this groupon is for, or is it for someone more experienced?

T M.  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

A:

Hi TM, This class would be perfect for you. It is a 2 hour class to give you an overview of motorcycling. This course is a more gradual, personal approach in learning how to ride. -Brief overview of riding gear. -Learn the location of motorcycle controls and how to operate them. -Develop an understanding of the clutch, throttle and the coordination necessary to start and stop a motorcycle. - Complete your first ride. At the end of the class, if you decide you want to become license you can take the 1 day licensing class or the 2 day basic riders course (BRC). Here are more details about those classes http://www.twowheeladventures.com/Courses.php For our Groupon customers, you may be able to enjoy an extra discount for our BRC for $275 instead of $325. Please call us for details.

JOSEPHINE  asked on  Feb 21, 2012

A:

Hi Josephine, Sorry that you won't be able to make the deal deadline. This class is normally $150. Please give us a call (678)896-5909 if you have anymore questions or you can also visit our website to get details on licensing classes http://www.twowheeladventures.com/Courses.php. $175 is the one day MSF licensing class, you must take the class on your motorcycle and have your permit, it is an all day class. $325 is the 2 day MSF licensing class where you will ride our motorcycle and wear our helmet if you don't have one. This last class is about: 5 hours classroom and 10 hours of riding. After successfully completing the written and riding test, you will receive a course completion card that you will take to the DMV to get your motorcycle license. MSF classes will also give you nice insurance discounts. Hope this help!
