About BakerRipley Turkey Trot
For over 25 years, the BakerRipley Turkey Trot has transformed the streets around Houston into a moving celebration of goodwill and charity. Three separate USA track and field sanctioned courses, including a family-friendly 1K kids run, make their way through the Uptown Galleria's most scenic areas.
Proceeds from the event, meanwhile, go to BakerRipley, a United Way agency. For 110 years, the organization has helped low-income individuals to become productive, prosperous, and self-sufficient. Each year, it brings resources and education to more than half a million people in 70 locations and 60 counties in Texas.
