Q:

Is there down time after the treatment? Should I expect redness, soreness, etc. afterward that would prevent me from going to work the next day or participating in activities?

Karen H.  asked on  Apr 26, 2013

A:

Hello Karen, I would recommend taking one day off at work or plan the procedure on a day that you are off as you will have some swelling and redness the first one to two days.

Q:

How much time elapses between treatments if you get three, and how quickly, for the average person, will results be seen?

Karen H.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

Hi Karen, depending on the settings used during your treatment, will depend on the time between treatments. The settings are dependent on the skin laxity and your skin type. All of this is determined during your consult for the procedure. Results are seen with the first treatment. Let me know if you need any further information. Carol

Q:

How long does the treatment last, and is it effective for eyelids?

Karen H.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

Hello Karen, it is effective for eyelids. The procedure is performed over the entire upper and lower eyelids. Each person is different in the lasting effect of the procedure depending on several factors, age, life style, (i.e. smoking, poor diet will decrease the benefit of the procedure), etc.

Q:

How many treatments are typically required to obtain a significant improvement around the eyes?

Amy L.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

Hello Amy, each person will vary on the number of treatments required. This is all dependent on the amount of skin laxity. While you can see improvement with just one treatment, it generally takes approximately three treatments to see a significant improvement. I hope this helps - Carol
