I think the food is a bit expensive but it’s on par with neighboring shops, and the quality is quite good. The Groupon is a good value.

Delicious udon in a modern, relaxed environment. The texture of the udon was fantastic. I tried the chilled version with beef, and the beef was well seasoned. Service was on the slower side (there was only one person for a full house), but warm nevertheless. Would definitely recommend!

Very good broth. The amount was filling. The posters on the wall were cute and the service was pleasant and polite. Good groupon.

About Udon Kitanoya
Located in Toronto, Udon Kitanoya is the first restaurant in the city specializing in Kansai-style Japanese udon. The dishes are served with dashi broth made out of Japanese Kombu and dried tuna, mackerel, sardine and bonito. The menu is created by Shikatani Masatoshi, Japanese chef with over 30 years of experience.
