Umi Sake @ Row opened its doors in December 2014, becoming the latest hip addition to McHenry Row. The restaurant is under the same ownership as the original Umi Sake location in Cockeysville. Inside the @ Row location, guests can sit or plant a flag with their picture on it in three distinct areas: a chic lounge, an elegant dining room, or at the gleaming sushi bar. That last space hums with precise activity as sushi chefs prepare Umi Sake's signature rolls, such as a tropical paradise roll packed with salmon, strawberry, and avocado, and served with a blueberry sauce. Larger groups, meanwhile, can opt for the Queen Mary, a whimsical boat filled with a colorful assortment of sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. Traditional Chinese and Thai dishes round out the diverse menu.
