What You'll Get
The first go-kart-racing track was a circle because it was designed to teach children how centripetal force feels without rolling them down hills in tires. Learn circularly with today’s Groupon at Umigo Racing in Livermore. Choose between the following options:
- For $15, you get one track session for one person (a $25 value) and a helmet head sock (a $5 value; a $30 total value). The value of this option may also be applied toward the $25 cost of certification for new drivers ages 10-15, if needed.
- For $55, you get one track session for four people (a $25 value each) and four helmet head socks (a $5 value each; a $120 total value).<p>

About Umigo Indoor Kart Racing
Umigo Indoor Kart Racing's staff alters the track every two or three weeks, reconfiguring the layout based on one of the more than 30 available designs. Hairpin turns and high-speed straightaways may appear in different places, and each course provides drivers with an exhilarating-yet-accessible challenge. The sound of roaring engines fills the air as high-performance go-karts soar around the track. At the same time, throughout each race marshals keep an eye on participants and use colored flags, nonverbal queues, and spoken instructions to communicate with drivers.
The visitors' safety remains a top priority for all of the staff members at Umigo. In addition to monitoring each race, they help first-timers by providing tips and feedback intended to create a safe and enjoyable experience.
