Get ready for plenty of mystery and laughs as Under The Gun Theater’s A Night of Whodunnit, an improvised double feature parodying mysteries old and new, comes to the stage. In One Story Told Week by Week, the cast takes on the hit NPR podcast Serial. An audience volunteer shares a time when he or she was falsely accused, which the performers then use as a springboard to take you back to the events surrounding the crime. They’ll walk you through the meaningless evidence and irrelevant but cordial phone conversations – all done in the trademark NPR style. Then, the Great Detective is on the case in The Improvised Adventures of Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson. You the audience will suggest an impossible whodunit, which the master of deduction and his trusty sidekick will proceed to unravel while all manner of Victorian-age eccentrics get in the way.
