I went to your web site but could not find any answers. What do you clean in my gas furnace? My furnace contains the heat exchanger (coils) for my A/C. While the furnace is opened do vacuum/clean the A/C coils? Also have an Aprilare 780(?) humidifier in the furnace. Do you inspect/clean that?

Hi, Below are the simplified basic points of our furnace service. This service is for the Gas Furnace only and does not include cleaning the AC Coils. The Humidifier cleaning is important to do before you use it because of buildup of mold and mildew inside the unit. You wouldn't want to blow that all around your home. Cleaning of the humidifier is an additional $49.95 at the time of the heating service. If the humidifier needs a new water pad that would also be extra and vary with the type of humidifier. Clean & Checking of a Gas Furnace regularly $99.95 • Check thermostat calibration (improperly calibrated thermostats will result in incorrect temperature in the home.) • Check heat anticipator setting (a properly adjusted system will deliver a more constant level of heat.) • Clean and check the blower fan to remove buildup of dirt and dust, which reduces the amount of air circulated through your home. • Wash or clean any washable filter. • Clean gas burners; check for proper burning. • Check all electronics. • Check for proper temperature rise to manufacturer’s specifications. • Check heat exchanger with a fiberoptic video inspection system. • Check fan controls. • Check for flu obstructions (proper venting of flu gasses is necessary to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning in your home.) • ENVIROCON the system to kill the mold and mildew that grows in a forced air system.

Q:

6000 hrs of training per year? That's over 16 hrs per day every day of the year. I know some parts of the descriptions are tongue in cheek, but this one is listed twice. Should this be 600 hrs?

A:

Yes appears to be a typo from Groupon, should be 600.

Q:

After doing research on the company and reading all the reviews, do you seriously expect me to be a customer with this company. Groupon, you need to do better research before signing up with companies like this. Last thing you want is to lose customers based on rubbish companies like this.
