Under the guidance of certified trainers, students perform high-intensity routines of functional exercises, such as squats, dead lifts, and pushups. Daily hybrid workouts are provided on the board for clients each day. The non-class based settings help clients to go at their own pace, creating a less intimidating environment for all athletic abilities. Coaches are at hand.
The gym is open Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
United Cross Training
Toned, fit, and highly experienced trainers share their expertise with others at United Cross Training. Amid vibrant graffiti-splashed walls and soft turf floors, the team of certified instructors motivate students to push themselves to their limits in high-intensity cross-training-style workouts, boot-camp classes, and personal-training sessions. They also conduct cardio dance classes, which channel the vivacious steps of salsa, hip-hop, and contemporary styles. To supplement workouts, their nutritional specialists craft meal plans to accommodate varying health levels and restrictive dietary issues, such as high blood pressure and reoccurring nightmares about man-eating arugula.
