SonicVision buttresses the audio mixes of KRUA 88.1's DJs with eye-popping digital animations created by the American Museum of Natural History and MTV2 as well as visualizations from the Fractal Foundation's Fractal Pack. No two performances feature the same music and visuals, making SonicVision a unique sensory buffet at every show. On February 25, DJ Aqua Black spins dreamy lo-fi with a taste of sounds from artists such as Tame Impala, Avey Tare of Animal Collective, and Beach House. Or check out MC Kennett on March 18, who may blast electro-acoustic tracks from Cut Copy, Animal Collective, or Handsome Furs. On April 18, DJ Wildebeest blasts his own electronic house beats alongside music from Justice and The Postal Service, and on April 22, The Captain feeds ears with indie and electronic soul, spinning tunes by Bloc Party, Legion of Doom, The Faint, and more.
